Palliative care can be provided at any stage of a serious illness, alongside treatments aimed at cure.
My passion in palliative care began from my first internship on the dialysis unit at Western Maryland Hospital Center. I feel lucky to have experience in providing care through multiple levels of care- including home health, skilled nursing facility, long term care nursing facility, and inpatient hospital.
