Dr. Mehta Named President-Elect of International Neuropalliative Care Society
Dr. Ambereen Mehta, associate professor in the Division of General Internal Medicine Section of Palliative Medicine, was elected an officer of the board of the International Neuropalliative Care Society (INPCS). She will serve a three-year term as president-elect beginning January 1, 2026 before becoming president for another three-year term. As president-elect, she will also serve as chair of the Governance Committee. The INPCS aims to foster growth in the fields of neurology and palliative medicine by creating a community of individuals in both fields, breaking silos between traditional medical walls.
