I love this division. It provides a collaborative, creative, supportive and challenging environment for career advancement and accomplishments. It is fun and full of wonderful colleagues/people.

Bio

I am Professor Emeritus of Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. I was division co-director from 1985-2005, division director from 2005-11, co-director of the Johns Hopkins Faculty Development Program for Clinician-Educators and director of its Programs in Curriculum Development from 1987-2013. My scholarship has focused on the psychosocial domain of medical practice, medical education and curriculum development.

I am married to a judge, have three adult children (a musician, a med-peds physician, and a research manager), and one grandchild. I enjoy jogging, biking, traveling, reading, writing, cooking and fine food, and spending time with family and friends.
