Social Worker, Palliative Care

I believe in providing holistic strengths-based care utilizing therapeutic models to build trust, provide guidance, and educate in the navigation of care throughout healthcare systems.

Bio

I am the Palliative Care Social Worker at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. My passion in palliative care began from my first internship on the dialysis unit at Western Maryland Hospital Center. I feel lucky to have experience in providing care through multiple levels of care- including home health, skilled nursing facility, long term care nursing facility, and inpatient hospital.

I value the extra layer of support that palliative care brings to patients, families, and medical teams for assisting in complex care. I believe in providing holistic strengths-based care utilizing therapeutic models to build trust, provide guidance, and educate in the navigation of care throughout healthcare systems. I am very fortunate to join an amazing supportive interdisciplinary palliative care team.

In my free time, I enjoy going on adventures with my fiancé, spending time with friends and family, cooking, video gaming, learning new skills, and working out.
